The moment we met these two we hit it off instantly. It was like meeting old friends who we hadn't seen in a while. We were so excited to be the wedding photographer and wedding videographer of their Hamilton wedding. However, the pandemic put their plans on hold and we weren't sure what was going to happen. Against all odds, Anne and Aya decided to throw a super chilled out wedding surrounded by a small group of their New Zealand based family and friends, with the rest of their guests overseas joining the ceremony via live streaming.

We started the day with wedding portraits in the beautiful Hamilton Gardens, where these two had their first look. Anne wore sneakers under her elegant flowing wedding dress – this day was all about having fun. Even her mom rocked the sneaker look!

After their church wedding ceremony, we all headed to Hamilton central for some Yum Cha. This intimate wedding was a total success even though it didn't go exactly as Anne and Aya originally had planned.
