Brad and Ben's intimate wedding was truly special. After years overseas, the two had returned back home earlier this year due to the pandemic, leaving behind everything. They settled back home in Muriwai, which holds a special place for both of them. It was only appropriate for them to have their wedding ceremony here.
In a secret bush spot, sheltered from the harsh sun under a protective canopy, Brad and Ben said their vows to each other in front of their closest family and friends. The old tree they stood in front of was printed on their wedding invites. Not to leave any trace on the land, the grooms saved all the decorations for their reception, which was held at Ben's family farm nearby. Their stylist Rock and Honey had done a wonderful job transforming the old barn into a chic, welcoming reception area.
The atmosphere was warm and intimate in the evening, when everyone gathered around the table to eat, drink and laugh. It was truly an honour to be a part of this special celebration as Brad and Ben's Muriwai wedding photographer.
If you are reading this and want your own Muriwai wedding photos, we'd love to hear from you!
