This beautiful Coromandel wedding was a dream come true for Sadaf, who had decided to get married at Stone Terrace years ago while working there as a makeup artist for another bride. With a stunning view overlooking the popular Hot Water Beach and Mediterranean inspired architecture, the venue is truly something else. On top of that, the place was beautifully decorated with the help of the bride and groom's friends and family.
The weather was stifling hot so after the ceremony formalities were done, we escaped into the forest for some bridal party photos. Sadaf wore a custom made wedding dress with an extra long train which was truly stunning, however not the easiest to manage on an uneven forest terrain! Regardless, the effort was well worth it and we got away from the heat for a little while.
Sadaf's Persian heritage and Matt's Samoan roots meant there were going to be plenty of different dances to entertain the guests. The evening started with a Persian knife dance performed by the bridesmaids and while the sun was setting, everyone moved downstairs to enjoy Samoan dance performances with the most beautifully coloured sky as the backdrop. We felt truly lucky to have been a part of such an amazing cultural feast with this stunning couple.
